This is a perfect compliment for your New Orleans theme party.Drawings vary from caricatures to portrait style and each is different depending on the artist.
This is a new tech way to enjoy caricatures but in digital format. Guests get the artistic portrait but it is sent to their digital media site via email. The artist strolls the party and works off of a small hand held computer doing sketches of guests. These portraits are colorful and exaggerated images of the guests. Client will get all images of guests following the event if requested. There are a limited number of artists available.
New Orleans connection with the Caribbean is strong. We incorporate the tradition of cigar rolling with the history of tobacco cultivation from Louisiana. Guests can watch a demonstration of hand rolling of cigars and can enjoy a sample cigar purchased by the client. Cigars are previously rolled and dried, the fresh cigars need about 2 weeks to cure..
The flexibility of the contortionist is a unique and mesmerizing talent. The contortionist will get into positions of flexibility with acrobatic movements. It is best on a platform or elevated location. Contortionist will need multiple breaks during event.
These traditional 1940’s costumed cigarette girls wear red and gold costumes and hold boxes filled with give-away items provided by the client. They are wonderful ways to get information into guest’s hands or to relive the memories of times past. We recommend candies as a sweet treat for guests.

Our strolling ghost is dressed in historic attire and will stroll the room telling the story of the ghosts that still haunt Muriel’s. Ghosts include the proprietor of Muriels who lost his home in a game of craps and subsequently lost his life is Pierre Antoine Lepardi Jourdan. We pair him with the famous Baroness Pontalba, real estate tycoon who created the Pontalba Apartments on Jackson Square which were the first apartments in the United States. The Baroness lost her fingers after her father in law tried shooting her, but her whale bone corset saved her life.

Enjoy the newest in technology with the LED Graffiti Wall. Guests get their image taken and it is put on the 12’x8’ graffiti wall. Once guests images are input into the system, their photo will appear on the wall and they use spray paint cans to enhance the image. Once the final design is created by the guest, it can be emailed or uploaded onto digital media and a print can be made and given to the guest as a take away.

Talented painters create works of art right in front of your eyes. At the beginning of the event, the canvas is blank, but hours later, the artist has captured the essence of the event and illustrated it onto the canvas. Guests can view the progress of the painting through the night and see the piece coming together in front of their eyes. At the end of the night, the guest of honor or client will take this work of art home with them.
This is a terrific way to break the ice and to entertain smaller groups of guests. The strolling magician does slight of hand tricks with cards and props. Magicians move around the room doing great tricks that always turn in to wonderful memories of the party. A variety of magicians are available whom have different styles of acts.
This tradition of "masking" has been featured on HBO's Treme. Exquisitely adorned Mardi Gras Indians work each year to create a new suit of feathers, sequins and hand beading. These Indians are unique to New Orleans and guests will flock to take photos of their exquisite costumes. A photo says 1,000 words. Indians can be booked as a single Indian or in groups with some playing drums and doing a “call and repeat” which is traditional in the Mardi Gras Indians culture.
Mirror costumes are one of the most impressive and memorable costumes. They are made of an acrylic mirror with mirrors of various shapes, which are assembled in a way that gives the impression of broken glass. The mirror reflects the lights of night and the sun’s rays, so you can use it at any daytime and any event. Mirrorman can greet guests, be used for photo ops or dance at the event.
Lovely models are available to greet guests, help at your event, promotions or to work the convention floor promoting your products. Both male and female models are available, some are fluent in multiple languages.
Have fun taking photos in the old style photo booth, only this one is a quick printing color digital photo booth! Guests step inside of the photo booth and take 4 photos with friends. The four photos are printed on long strips with the option of having a digital logo or guest of honor name at the bottom. The photo booth comes with a personal technician who will take photos and organize the book and needs a 10’x10’ space and electrical outlet to plug into.
These artists traditionally set up in Jackson Square and are terrific fun for guests to enjoy at any event. Readings are about 5-7 minutes in length. Readers can do about 10 guests per hour. Please call for help in planning the best number of readers for your event. It is best if readers are stationed in a quiet place. Readers will each need a small table with basic linens and 2-3 chairs.
